"Problems of Interaction of Art, Pedagogy and Theory and Practice of Education" is the publication of peer-reviewed research articles that contain original scientific results from the specialty "002 Culture and art".

The aim of the scientific journal is to publish scientific articles, analytical reviews and essays aimed at a comprehensive understanding of the problems of interaction between art, pedagogy, theory and practice of education in their historical development and modern dimension. The publication is designed to represent the results of scientific research, including dissertations, in the field of “Musical Art” (025, B5), in particular – art history, musical interpretology and communicativity, art pedagogy, theory and methodology of education, – and to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and integration of scientific and educational experience.
The collection is addressed to scientists, teachers, practitioners in the field of art and education, as well as to applicants for higher education in the arts and humanities.

Main tasks:

• highlighting current problems of art, pedagogy and educational practices in the modern socio-cultural context;
• publication of the results of fundamental and applied scientific research in the fields of art history and art education;
• promotion of the development of interdisciplinary approaches in the study of artistic, pedagogical and educational processes;
• generalization and analysis of innovative educational methods and pedagogical practices in the field of art;
• support of scientific communication between researchers, teachers and practitioners of the artistic and educational fields;
• creation of a platform for testing the results of dissertation research (for applicants for educational-scientific and educational-creative degrees);
• formation of a modern scientific discourse on the role of art in the educational process and cultural development of society;
• involvement of young scientists and students in active scientific and research activities.

Founded in 1995.

The publication is included in category “B” of the “List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine” in the field of art history (specialty 025, В5 – Musical Art), order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 420 dated April 19, 2021.

By Decision No. 1500 of the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting dated May 09, 2024 (protocol No. 15), the scientific publication "Problems of Interaction of Art, Pedagogy, Theory and Practice of Education" received registration as a subject in the field of printed media, was entered into the Register and received the identifier R30-02499.

Publication Frequency and Fees
The journal is published 4 times a year. The materials are published after the approval of the issue for printing by the decision of the Academic Council of Kharkiv I.P. Kotlyarevsky National University of Arts. Publication in the collection of research papers "Problems of Interaction of Art, Pedagogy and Theory and Practice of Education" is free of charge. The journal does not charge a fee for processing, reviewing and publishing articles. At the same time, authors, reviewers, and members of the editorial board do not receive any fees.
